Signals split across tools
Application errors, queue backlogs and deployment health each show one part of an incident. Joining them by hand adds more places to look when time is short.
FOR PLATFORM & SRE TEAMS
FaultTrellis is being built for teams that carry reliability across services, queues and releases. The intended direction is a shared view of relevant signals, with routine work kept legible and bounded.
No live integrations or automated actions are available yet.
THE WORK AROUND THE ALERT
For platform and SRE teams, operational toil often comes from joining context across tools and handoffs—not just from responding to a single alert.
Application errors, queue backlogs and deployment health each show one part of an incident. Joining them by hand adds more places to look when time is short.
On-call engineers often reconstruct what changed, what failed and what is still open from separate timelines, dashboards and team conversations.
A repeatable response can save time, but unclear scope or missing context should never turn urgency into permission to act.
SAFETY IS A DESIGN BOUNDARY
These are the principles FaultTrellis is being designed around. They describe the intended behavior while the product remains in development.
The intended model only permits actions covered by clear approval rules. Familiarity or past use is not treated as consent.
If a rule does not clearly allow an action—or its scope is uncertain—the planned behavior is to deny it and leave the system unchanged.
When no safe, approved next step is available, the intended boundary is to stop and leave the decision for human review.
If a safe action is not available, the planned system stops for a person to review.
BUILT AROUND REAL OPERATIONS
Share an on-call or backend reliability workflow your team would want to make easier to follow. FaultTrellis is in development, and the product direction is still taking shape.
